What language pairs do you work on?
We localize/translate from English to Chinese Simplified (China mainland, Singapore audiences oriented), Chinese Traditional (Taiwan audiences oriented), Japanese and Korean. For ePublishing services, we support English, main European languages (French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Swedish, Russian, etc.), Japanese, Korean as well as Chinese Simplified and Chinese Traditional.
Do you use Translation memory tools? Trados only?
We do use Translation Memory tools such as SDL Trados (version 7.0, 6.5, 5.5), which is defaulted, to protect our clients' investment. For MLVs intending to use other TM tools, we can also support them as long as it's one of the following:
- Alchemy Catalyst (up to 5.0)
- IBM Translation Manager 2.7
- LionLinguist 5.6
- SDLX 4.2 Lite
- Star Transit Satellite PE
- Uniscape Translator Studio
How do you receive/deliver documents?
Delivery method of documents include:
- FTP (preferable)
- Fax (not suggested)
- CD-ROM or Hard Copy to be delivered by couriers
What will be delivered at the completion of a project?
Files will be delivered at the ending include:
- Deliverables as defined by the client
- Translation Memory
- Term base
- Intermediate files as required by the client, such as PSD files containing text layers generated while creating GIF target files, or reports generated by Trados
How do you support rush job?
Rush job is defined as to be delivered within 3 workdays. For rush job, we will charge 25% premium. For our Strategy Business Partners, no additional fee will be charged. It is provided as one of the benefits.
